"There is a flower renaissance happening across America. I would like to invite you to come along and be a part of it"

-Katie

Flowers brighten up a kitchen or living room, bring a smile to someone's face and let a friend or loved one know you care. Just as we want to know where our food comes from, how and what is used to grow it,  more and more folks are realizing that flowers are no different.

Did you know:

  • 80% of the flowers sold in the U.S.A.(grocery stores, florist shops, etc) are grown in far away countries such as Columbia & Ecuador

  • Most of these flowers are grown under very low wage conditions.

  • Flowers coming from other countries are sprayed heavily with chemicals during the growing process.

  • Most blooms are out of water up to a week before reaching their final destination!

What you get buying locally grown:

  • Locally grown flowers are grown in a sustainable manner with very minimal or no chemicals.

  • Your flowers will not be flown dehydrated on a jet and then tractor trailer for thousands of miles (your farmer hands them to you directly).

  • Most flowers have been picked no more than 24 hours before delivery.

  • You are helping support your local farmer and your community's economy.

So what are you waiting for? Jump in and buy local!
